Dear friend,
We live in unprecedented times.
A global pandemic and government overreaction.
Radical Leftists rioting and destroying our cities.
A Presidential election thrown into chaos as reports of voter fraud and malfeasance plague the reporting of the results.
In the midst of all of this, it’s easy for one to lose hope.
While states across the country are locking down again as Covid cases are spiking and we stare down the real possibility of a Biden/Harris Presidency with all the threats to life and liberty they have promised, all is not lost.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving this year, let us be mindful of the many blessings from our Lord and be thankful for Him and his faithfulness always.
Not only are we thankful for the blessings from God, but we are thankful for the God of blessing.
He calls us to be faithful to His word and to be ever praising Him and to serve Him as we are called.
Ours is the responsibility, but the results are ultimately in His hands.
Regardless of how the presidential election finally shakes out, our duty remains the same for us at Abolish Abortion Texas.
We are only weeks away from the start of the 2021 Texas legislative session where we will continue advocating on behalf of preborn babies and witness to our leaders as we call on them to repent and to finally end the scourge of abortion in our state.
Not only that, but we are preparing for a potential Biden/Harris administration that is sure to supercharge the abortion lobby. They have already made it clear that they want to codify Roe v. Wade, attempting to cement into state and federal law the Supreme Court ruling that has led to the death of tens of millions of Americans.
There is much work to be done, and I can’t do it alone.
So this Thanksgiving, I encourage you to take a break from all of the things that tempt us to be anxious, and take a moment to be thankful for every good blessing we have.
And join me in prayer, asking God’s blessing on our efforts to fight back against abortion, that we would find success and that the Lord would change the hearts of our leaders.
And prepare for the battle ahead.
For Life,
Bradley Pierce
Executive Director
Abolish Abortion Texas
P.S. This Thanksgiving, I am thankful to our Lord for the way that He continues to bless our efforts to end abortion in Texas and for folks like you who continue to support us with your prayers and donations.
