GOVERNING BOARD
The Governing Board is the core leadership body of Abolish Abortion Texas. This body leads the organization and its staff in biblical wisdom, making all final decisions on the mission and direction of the entity.

Bradley Pierce – President
Bradley Pierce is the President of both the Foundation to Abolish Abortion and Abolish Abortion Texas. He is a constitutional attorney and has been practicing for over seventeen years. He has drafted legislation in more than thirty states supporting self-defense rights, parental rights, civil liberties, and the right to life, including drafting dozens of equal protection bills filed to abolish abortion.
Pierce has been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, where on behalf of twenty-one organizations and twenty state legislators from across the country, he filed a brief in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.
Pierce has spoken at the Founders Ministries National Conference, been a guest on Relatable with Allie Beth Stuckey, and is frequently interviewed by news outlets such as the Daily Wire and World News, as well as the New York Times, the Washington Post, NPR, and others.
Most importantly, Pierce is a Christian, husband to his wife, Cindy, father of their twelve children, and member of their local church.

J.R. Haas – Vice President
J.R. Haas brings over twenty years of corporate leadership experience as a product owner for a global mobility team in corporate IT. He applies this same strategic leadership to the fight for life.
As the Vice President of both the Foundation to Abolish Abortion and Abolish Abortion Texas, Haas has been at the forefront of organizing rallies at the Texas State Capitol, leading petition drives, coordinating citizen lobbying efforts, and testifying before the Texas Legislature in favor of abolition bills and in opposition to incremental measures that obstruct equal protection.
For over twenty years, Haas has engaged in street evangelism in downtown Houston, South Padre, at the Super Bowl, and at Galveston Mardi Gras, and spent seven years ministering outside of abortion mills. His commitment to the abolitionist cause extends into the political arena, where he has served as a Republican Party precinct chairman for eight years and has been twice appointed to Republican Party of Texas State Convention Committees, where he has advocated for abolition.
In 2021 and 2023, Haas served as a delegate to the Southern Baptist Convention from Grace Family Baptist Church in Houston. He helped bring forward a resolution on abolishing abortion that was passed in 2021. He previously served as a deacon in his church for over nine years.
Most importantly, J.R. is a Christian, husband to his wife, Amy Ellen, father of their five children, and active member of the local church.

Wesley Thomas
Wesley Thomas is a software engineer and founding board member of Abolish Abortion Texas, where he assists with the technical infrastructure, and of the Foundation to Abolish Abortion.
He became involved in the abortion abolition movement in 2016 when he attended the Republican Party of Texas state convention to advocate for abolition as a legislative priority. Wesley wants to see our laws reflect God’s Law and our civil authorities serve the Lord. Thomas recognizes that we have a duty before God to defend the defenseless and to work for justice in our land.
Thomas serves as Chairman of the Liberty County Republican Party and has been a delegate to the last six Republican Party of Texas conventions. He has been a resident of Liberty County for twelve years. Wesley is a member of Oak Shade Baptist Church and lives in the community with his wife and five children.

Christopher Youngblood
Christopher Youngblood serves on the governing board and as treasurer for both the Foundation to Abolish Abortion and Abolish Abortion Texas.
He was driven to action in the abolitionist movement by early abolitionist efforts on social media. As a Christian, he is motivated by a desire to see the innocent protected and our nation uphold God’s Law.
Youngblood works as the operations manager at In His Hands Birth Supply. He is married to his wife, Hannah, and they have seven children.
They reside in Liberty Hill, Texas, and are members of Redemption Hill Church.
ADVISORY BOARD
The Advisory Board serves as a non-governing council, providing spiritual wisdom and strategic insight to help Abolish Abortion Texas navigate complex issues and advance our mission effectively. This body exists to strengthen our work through collective wisdom rooted in Scripture and aided by practical experience.

Phil George
Phil George has served as a pastor at Grace Life Church of Dallas since 2015. Alongside shepherding the flock, he operates the accounting practice he founded in 2001, manages a ranch, and partners with his wife, Bobbi, in home educating their ten children on their family property in North Texas.
George has spoken at abolitionist conferences, testified before legislative committees, and met with lawmakers in support of the mission of Abolish Abortion Texas.
His involvement in the effort to abolish abortion began after watching Babies Are Murdered Here and hearing the bold preaching of men like Jeff Durbin, Bradley Pierce, and Jon Speed, whose messages exposed both the evil of abortion and the widespread indifference of many Christians toward this ongoing tragedy.

Michael Gobart
Michael Gobart is a husband of twenty-six years and the father of six children. He is the founder and owner of MG Legacy Custom Homes, a South Texas construction firm known for craftsmanship, integrity, and family-centered design.
With more than a decade of leadership experience, Gobart applies biblical principles to every area of life and work, including his advocacy with Abolish Abortion Texas, driven by a burden to understand and apply all of God’s Law to both personal conduct and public policy.
His involvement in the abolition movement flows from a deep conviction that every child is created in the image of God and deserves equal protection of the laws. For Michael, this is not merely a political cause, but a moral and spiritual duty rooted in obedience to Christ.
He and his family attend North Gabriel Christian Assembly in Cedar Park, Texas.
