The Legislature must repeal Penal Code Sections 19.06, 22.12, and Civil Practice and Remedies Code Section 71.003(c); pass strong criminal penalties and new enforcement tools to fight abortion and abortion pill trafficking; hold rogue officials accountable for failing to defend life; protect fetal life from destructive practices, such as IVF (in vitro fertilization) and commercial surrogacy; promote Natural Procreative Technologies (NaPro) to help women conceive children naturally; protect vulnerable patients at any stage of life from involuntary termination in medical settings.” Source Link

Current RPT Platform, Plank 107: "Education on Humanity and Dignity of the Preborn Child: We support requiring Texas students to learn about the following: the humanity of the preborn child (including life-affirming definitions of life and the study of life), the concept that life begins at fertilization, that every human life is made in the likeness and image of God, milestones of fetal development at two-week gestational intervals, use of fetal baby models, witnessing a live ultrasound, and viewing videos Meet Baby Olivia, A Glimpse Inside, and Miracle of Life. Additionally, we support requiring Texas high school students to read the Woman’s Right to Know booklet.
Students should also receive instruction on the dignity of human life and the principles of equal
protection that were instituted in the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution
that “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of
Happiness,” as well as that “no State shall deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due
process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
Students should further understand that the prohibition against taking innocent human life—reflected in the timeless moral command “thou shalt not murder”—finds its ultimate source in God, who is the
foundation of all just law, and that this principle is echoed throughout America’s founding documents
and legal tradition.
Additionally, Texas public schools shall provide age-appropriate education on students’ rights and safe reporting channels for forced marriage, female genital mutilation, honor violence, grooming, and
trafficking. Schools shall ensure that no student faces retaliation for reporting coercive abuse." Source Link
