First post-Roe bill of equal protection
The South Carolina Prenatal Equal Protection Act of 2023 has been FILED. 
This bill, also known as House Bill 3549, is the first uncompromising bill of equal protection for preborn babies to be filed in the post-Roe fight.[1]
This kicks off the 2023 fight for equal protection across the country.
I was able to help draft this bill for South Carolina through our organization the Foundation to Abolish Abortion (FAA), and it was an honor to do so.
We intend to support and assist the advocates working on the ground in South Carolina throughout the legislative season as they work to bring this bill through the legislature and to the governor’s desk.
This week, I joined the sponsor of the bill, House Rep. Rob Harris, and pastor Mark Corral on a Facebook Live to discuss H. 3549, which would grant the equal protection of the laws to all preborn babies in South Carolina beginning at conception.
SC is the first, but it won’t be the last
We expect H. 3549 in South Carolina to be only the first of many equal protection bills filed in 2023.
It is exciting to see this movement growing!
We are incredibly grateful for the donors who make it possible for us to provide legal assistance with drafting bills of equal protection to states across the country. Lord-willing, we expect at least eight or more equal protection bills that we have helped to draft to be filed this year! 
2023 is the first post-Roe legislative season and it is a CRITICAL time for a strong voice for equal protection to be HEARD across the country.
When activists and legislators who are working on introducing a bill of equal protection in their state come to FAA and ask for assistance with their bill, we want to say YES every time.
