49 years.
That is how long abortion has been “legal” in our country.
It was January 22, 1973, when the U.S. Supreme Court handed down their decision in Roe v. Wade, claiming to strike down the Texas law prohibiting the killing of an unborn child.
For far too long, candidates running for office will mouth generic Pro-Life talking points, but do next to nothing once they are in office to protect preborn babies.
Year after year, candidates promise to protect life, but when the time comes to actually uphold the Constitution and establish equal protection, which is an official Priority of the Republican Party of Texas, most don’t keep their promises.
That’s exactly why Abolish Abortion Texas sent a simple questionnaire to every candidate running for the legislature in the March 1st Republican Primary Election.
After all, the position taken on abolishing abortion by the person chosen to represent you in Texas House District 91 will affect the lives of over one hundred thousand preborn children just over the next two years.
And that’s why I am writing to you today.
With so little time until the March 1st Primary, it’s vitally important you act today to ensure that your next representative pledges to fight for equal protection for defenseless preborn children.
Where Do Candidates Stand in HD 91?
In the Republican primary for House District 91, there are five candidates vying for the Republican nomination: incumbent Stephanie Klick and candidates David Lowe, Benjamin Damico, Anthony Reed, and David Silvey.
With the deadline passing to return our candidate questionnaire on February 4, so far David Lowe is the ONLY candidate for House District 91 who has returned our survey, and he pledged to fully support abolishing abortion in Texas!
However, incumbent Stephanie Klick, along with Damico, Reed, and Silvey, didn’t answer at all.
It is alarming that any Republican candidate would refuse to answer a survey which should be easy to answer. We are only asking them if they agree with and intend to follow through on the Platform, Principles, and Priorities of the Republican Party of Texas when it comes to abolishing abortion.
Stephanie Klick’s Bad History
But Rep. Klick’s failure to return her survey is not surprising since she has an unfortunate history of working against abolishing abortion.
You see, this isn’t the first time she has refused to pledge to uphold the Constitution and establish equal protection. She also failed to return her AATX Candidate Survey back in 2020, and after she was re-elected it became very clear why.
Not only did Klick refuse to follow the Platform and Principles of her own Party on abolishing abortion, she worked against them!
As committee chair, Klick refused to even give our bill a hearing. Stephanie Klick killed HB 3326, the only bill in Texas which would have abolished abortion immediately and given every single preborn baby the same protections of the law that you and I enjoy.
The truth is hard to believe sometimes. But with “friends” like that, preborn babies don’t really need any enemies, do they?
Not only that, but on just the third day of the 2021 regular session, Klick even voted AGAINST requiring a vote to abolish abortion before renaming roads or bridges (House Record Vote No. 23).
Is giving a ROAD a legal name more important to Klick than protecting a human BABY so they can survive long enough to get one too?
Publicly pledging to support the Republican Party platform, Principles, and Legislative Priority during the Republican Primary should be easy, yet David Lowe is the ONLY candidate in House District 91 who has been willing to sign our pledge to do so.
Politicians who refuse to take any real position in defense of the preborn today are likely to be the first ones to cave once they are in office.
I’ve seen it too many times…
Unfortunately, Klick did exactly that.
But there is good news. First, right now in the days leading up to the Primary Election is the very best time to lobby candidates for office. It is when they are most sensitive to grassroots pressure.
Is Klick going to continue actively working against abolishing abortion, or is she going to fight for equal protection for preborn Texans?
To ensure Stephanie Klick knows she needs to repent and reverse course, please contact your representative, Stephanie Klick, and urge her to publicly apologize and to return her Abolish Abortion Texas Candidate Survey pledging 100% support for equal protection for every single baby in Texas.
On the other hand…
David Lowe’s Pledge
While Klick has repeatedly refused to return her Candidate Survey, candidate David Lowe returned his, pledging support for abolishing abortion in Texas no matter what federal orders or court opinions say.
He is pledging to stand against the unconstitutional Roe v Wade decision, and to stand against the outrageous idea that anyone has a “right” to murder a single baby in Texas.
Lowe is also pledging to support legislation to abolish abortion in Texas, like HB 3326 from last session—a bill Chair Klick worked to kill.
At Abolish Abortion Texas, we take seriously our charge to hold self-proclaimed Pro-Life politicians to a higher standard. It’s no longer enough to say “I’m pro-life” and then do nothing to actually abolish abortion when in office—or worse, to fight against it!
That’s why David Lowe’s AATX Pledge is so exciting!
But the political establishment and the pro-abortion lobby always pressure candidates like David Lowe by calling them “radical” and saying they are “out-of-touch” just for their willingness to actually fight to immediately abolish the unconstitutional and murderous practice of abortion from our state.
You can make a difference NOW
That’s why it’s important to reach out to candidate David Lowe to thank him for returning his AATX Candidate Survey. Please urge him to stand strong in the fight to end abortion completely.
So before the March 1st Republican Primary, please contact David Lowe to thank him for his unequivocal stance against abortion and encourage him to stand strong.
And also be sure to contact incumbent Stephanie Klick and urge her to reverse course. Urge her to apologize for killing HB 3326 and then return her AATX survey pledging 100% support for abolishing abortion in Texas.
With the lives of preborn children at stake, your activism is important in this crucial time.
Thank you and God bless.
For Life, for Justice, and for the Glory of God,
Bradley Pierce

P.S. For far too long candidates running for office have mouthed generic Pro-Life talking points, but then do little to nothing once they are elected to protect the preborn.
That’s why Abolish Abortion Texas sent a questionnaire to every candidate running for the State House in the March 1st Republican Primary election.
Unfortunately, incumbent Stephanie Klick has so far refused to return her 2022 Candidate Survey (just like she did in 2020).
Klick is refusing to stand by the Republican Party of Texas Platform, Principles, and Legislative Priorities which call for the immediate abolition of abortion.
It’s no wonder. As committee chair, she killed HB 3326, the bill to abolish abortion.
Please contact Klick and urge her to return her AATX Candidate Survey.
Thankfully, candidate David Lowe returned his AATX Candidate Survey pledging to support abolishing abortion.
He is pledging to stand against the evil idea that murdering babies is a “right.” He’s pledging to stand for the God-given and Constitutional right of equal protection for preborn babies by supporting legislation to abolish abortion in Texas, like the bill Klick killed, HB 3326.
Please contact Lowe and thank him for pledging to lead in fight to end abortion. Urge him to stand strong against the onslaught from the political establishment and pro-abortion lobby.
