Most politicians were born to FOLLOW

Politics isn’t really what you think it is.

Most people think that the people up at the capitol were all born leaders. That is what we elected them to do right? To lead?

But the truth is that most of them don’t want to lead at all. They are followers. They are often more interested in the latest poll than they are in doing what’s right.

If you walk into the office of almost any legislator in Austin, or D.C., or anywhere else in this country, and urge them to LEAD, they look at you like you are crazy.

I know; I’ve received that look many times.

Learning this has helped me understand something critical about my role and yours when we engage with our elected officials.

They aren’t leading; you are.

I explain it all in the video above from a few years ago. Please take a few minutes to watch it. I think it will change your perspective on your own place in this fight. And the more Christians in this fight, the better.

For life, for justice, and for the glory of God,
