According to the Texas House Committee on General Investigating’s unanimous May 6 report, which appears to be thorough and credible, Texas State Representative Bryan Slaton has committed egregious misconduct and sin.
If true, we urge Rep. Slaton to immediately acknowledge his sins, resign his office, issue a public apology, and focus on his family and dedication to his first priorities and duties.
Such conduct is destructive, scandalous for a public officer of Texas, and brings shame upon the body of Christ. We pray for Rep. Slaton’s complete repentance. We also pray for his family and all involved.
