The Abolition of Abortion Act has moved to the next stage of the process, and is in Committee Chairwoman Stephanie Klick’s Public Health committee.
We’ve taken great steps forward during the last three legislative sessions, and now we can make more progress toward ending abortion in Texas!
HB 3326, sponsored by Rep. Bryan Slaton, applies the same standard of protection to life to those inside the womb as outside of the womb. It treats all God-given life as precious and sacred.
It ignores Roe v. Wade and asserts the sovereignty of the U.S. and Texas Constitutions. It removes loopholes that we know pro-abortion forces like Planned Parenthood exploit to continue making money by ending the lives of preborn people in our state.
HB 3326 will truly ABOLISH abortion in our state, and it’s supported by tens of thousands of Texans!
But we MUST make our voices heard. We need your help, and we must act NOW.
It’s up to Committee Chairwoman Stephanie Klick to make sure that this bill gets a fighting chance. Without a hearing, we can’t get it passed!
