If we don’t fight against the greatest evil of our age as Christians, we will fail.

Real and lasting change will only come from the Spirit of God changing the hearts of people across this country.

We recently invited pastor Jeff Durbin to speak at an event where he said, “God changes people’s hearts through His Word, not compromise.”

Amen!

God’s Word does not return void.

✅ He can turn the hearts of mothers and fathers toward their children.

✅ He can provoke His Church to rescue those who are being taken away to death.

✅ He can establish leaders and legislators who refuse to distort the justice due to the fatherless.

God can do these things, and we believe that He will do them through the power of His Word. That’s why we must follow Him and Him alone in this fight.

Not everyone fighting abortion agrees with us.

Many Pro-Life leaders try to engage in this fight without God. Some openly say that their organizations are not fighting abortion as Christians. They build their foundation and strategies on biology or human rights. They leave God out of it… on purpose.

Others openly promote Christ but then leave their Bibles at home and abandon the only standard that would tell them what they’re fighting for. They lay down the sword of truth, the most powerful weapon they have, and then they wonder why they’re losing.🤔

Many Christians think that Pro-Life always means Christian. But often it doesn’t, at least not in action.

As Jeff said in his talk,

“Christians don't understand that this [Pro-Life] industry … does not believe what we believe as the Christian Church. What we have believed for over 2,000 years.”

It is eye opening and we need our eyes wide open in this fight.

Without the message of the Gospel to change people’s hearts and the standard of His Word to guide the way, we have no hope of truly winning.

But all glory to God, we are not fighting a losing fight!

He has given us His Word to show us how to do His will His ways. And that’s what we are committed to do until every baby is equally protected by law.
