Join me for dinner in Frisco

A special invite from co-laborer Rusty Thomas

Friend,

I have been engaged in the battle against abortion for a long time. Once the Lord calls us into a fight, there is no turning back. Amen?

Many of you may remember my son Jeremiah’s story. His unexpected cancer diagnosis in 2018 when he was just 16, came as a shock to our family. But I could not be prouder of how he chose to live out the final days the Lord gave him.

Cancer took Jeremiah quickly. Just a few months from his diagnosis, he went to be with Jesus. But not before he thought about what he wanted his legacy to be . . .

His love for Jesus and strong desire to see abortion abolished in Texas made a lasting impact on thousands of people.

The Jeremiah’s Wish campaign, calling on Gov. Abbott to prioritize abolishing abortion completely in Texas, as he had promised my son he would do, drew a tremendous number of people into the fight to abolish abortion in Texas.

Though Gov. Abbott never fulfilled his promise to my son, the way Jeremiah chose to live out his last days inspired many to get in the fight for their preborn neighbors again, or for the first time. Without a doubt, that is a win!

By God’s grace, this movement is growing primarily because of people who “count it all joy” when they suffer various discouragements and trials, and they continue to fight because they know that it is right.

Sometimes we grow weary because the battle seems long and difficult, but even when there are challenges and sorrows, we have much to be grateful for.

We can always be grateful because we are serving a great God!

He gives us strength and courage to do right even when the whole world is doing wrong. He leads us and guards and protects us through every valley. Glory be to God!

I am grateful for all that the Lord has done in recent years in the battle to abolish abortion in Texas.

That’s why I want you to join me and AATX for an Appreciation Dinner and Fundraiser in Frisco, Texas on November 6. Please register now before all the seats are gone!

We are gathering to give thanks for the work the Lord is doing.

We expect the evening to be an encouraging time of fellowship for everyone. If you are feeling weary in the fight, come. If you are barely getting started and don’t know how to get involved, come. Wherever you are in this fight, come.

Pastor Jeff Durbin of Apologia church will be the keynote speaker; Bradley Pierce will give us an update on where things stand in Texas and look to the future; and we welcome special guest Representative Bryan Slaton who filed the most recent Texas bills to abolish abortion.

As we keep our hands to the plow, I look forward to the day when we will abolish abortion in Texas in Jesus’ name and for His glory!

Please join me in Frisco on Nov. 6!
