Pastors and church leaders are VITAL to the work of abolishing abortion.

That hasn’t changed even with the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

It is critically important for the Church to LEAD in a post-Roe America!

The importance of faithful leaders who will teach and equip their congregations to love their preborn neighbors as themselves in the midst of an ongoing genocide cannot be overstated.

It is the duty of the Church to rise up and defend the weak and the needy in our time.

And there is no population more weak, vulnerable, and in need in our day than the innocent preborn children who are being taken away to death every day. They are helpless to speak for or save themselves.

The Bible tells us that true religion is, “to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”

Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.”

We are also commanded to, “Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter.”

Friends, the work of abolishing abortion belongs to the Church, and it is way past time for the Church to rise up and fight.

But how?

That is a challenging question. But it is not an impossible question for those who are willing to open their Bibles and seek wisdom from God on how He wants us to fight.

FREE Church Leaders Conference, August 19

That’s why Abolish Abortion Texas and the Foundation to Abolish Abortion are organizing a FREE one-day Church Leaders Conference on Friday, August 19, 2022, in downtown Houston, Texas.

This one-day conference will:

1. 1. Help prepare YOU as a pastor or church leader to equip your congregation to do the righteous work of abolishing abortion and protecting our weakest neighbors.
      
      
   2. Give you the opportunity to network with like-minded pastors and church leaders from around the country.

The Church Leaders Conference will cover topics like:

• • Why abolition is the biblical response to abortion?
  • How to preach about abortion
  • Are abortion clinics open by permission of the Church? What responsibility does the Church have for the persistence of abortion in America?
  • How to take your church to the front lines
  • How to engage civil leaders
  • How the Church can create a culture that abolishes abortion
  • A Q&A panel discussion, and more…

Many of these topics will be covered by pastors, with the goal of equipping YOU to lead your own congregation to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly before God in an age where child sacrifice is openly practiced.

Scheduled speakers include:

Pastor Blake Gideon: Pastor Gideon was convicted that abolitionism is biblical and he repented of working against it. He now fights for abolition in Oklahoma.

Pastor Bill Ascol: Pastor Ascol has been a leader in bringing resolutions before the Southern Baptist Convention which call on Southern Baptists to work for equal protection and for abolishing abortion.

Pastor Brian Gunter: Pastor Gunter has been involved in pushing forward abolition in Louisiana which is the first state to successfully pass a bill to abolish abortion through committee to get a hearing on the House floor.

Attorney Bradley Pierce: Bradley has assisted in drafting legislation to abolish abortion for many of the states where bills have been introduced and serves as President of the Foundation to Abolish Abortion and Abolish Abortion Texas.

Why is this conference important?

The success of efforts to abolish abortion in states across the country depends heavily on the faithfulness of the Church in word and DEED. Is the Church of Jesus practicing love, mercy, and justice toward our preborn neighbors or are we crossing to the other side of the road?

Friends, the faithfulness of the Church is greatly helped or hindered by her leaders. Your congregation NEEDS your righteous leadership in this fight.

Even though Roe was overturned, you may be surprised to learn that abortion has NOT been abolished in ANY of the 50 states yet.
