Roe v. Wade and the FAILURE of Pro-Life strategy

Friend,

The evil and unconstitutional Roe v. Wade decision turns 49 years old tomorrow.

In 1973, the highest court in our land IGNORED the higher laws of God and the Constitution when they ruled that states MUST deny preborn human beings the equal protection of the laws.

Our Supreme Court justices chose to break their oaths of office to uphold the Constitution, and they rejected their duty before God to establish justice without partiality. They made a lawless decision on January 22, 1973, and over 63 million innocent people have been murdered so far because of it (and that’s just those reported).

The thing is, Friend, it isn’t only because the Court made an evil ruling, but because every state, including Texas, chose to comply with Roe instead of ignoring it and upholding the Constitution. Roe is an unlawful ruling that rejects the commands of God and defies the Constitution. It should be IGNORED. Where the Court ignores the Constitution, we must ignore the Court.

For the last 49 years, the Pro-Life movement has favored a strategy for defeating Roe, which looks like this:

  1. Elect Republican presidents
  2. To appoint pro-life Supreme Court justices
  3. To overturn Roe
  4. While passing incremental legislation to regulate the murder of preborn babies
  5. To undermine Roe
  6. Save some babies
  7. And weaken the pro-abortion movement

That strategy generally sums up all the Pro-Life lobbying and legislation in America from 1973 to today.

Friend, the problem is that this strategy has colossally FAILED.

Did you know that the Roe v. Wade decision was handed down by a majority of Republican-appointed justices?

Not only that, but Republican appointees have dominated the Court for the last 49 years. Democratic appointees have NEVER held the majority in all that time. There were even years where Republicans controlled the House, the Senate, and the presidency, in addition to the Court.

But Roe v. Wade still stands.

Roe has not been overturned even though we followed the primary Pro-Life strategy to a T… for decades.

In fact, in 1992, a Supreme Court made up of eight Republican-appointed justices (and one pro-life Democrat) doubled down on Roe with the Planned Parenthood v. Casey decision. Instead of overturning Roe, they strengthened it by determining that women not only have a “right” to abortion, but that no state could place an “undue burden” in the way of a woman seeking an abortion.

I explain much more about this in my talk about Roe v. Wade and the Supreme Court. Understanding this issue is critical for those who want to abolish abortion completely. We cannot keep repeating this history of failure. This video has opened the eyes of many, so I hope you’ll watch it.

The accepted Pro-Life strategy of waiting on the Supreme Court to overturn Roe has proven again and again and again to be a false hope.

And it has further entrenched the belief that there is an innate “right to abortion” into our legal system and into the hearts and minds of the nation.

The default position today, even for those who call themselves Pro-Life, is to treat abortion like healthcare that may be regulated instead of as murder that must be abolished.

This must change.

Abortion isn’t healthcare, it’s murder. Our preborn neighbors deserve the equal protection of the laws which God commands and the Constitution requires.

This means we must Ignore Roe!

I am so glad you have joined us in this fight. You can help us abolish abortion once and for all by watching and sharing the video above.

We want every pro-life Texan to be informed about the real story of Roe v. Wade and the Supreme Court so we can STOP repeating this history of failure.

For life, for justice, and for the glory of God,
