Do we believe a fetus is a person?
For 49 years the Pro-Life movement has said that a fetus is a person and that Roe v. Wade is unconstitutional.
But for 49 years we haven’t really acted like these things are true.
Texas and all the other states have enforced the evil, unconstitutional Roe v. Wade opinion instead of following the higher law of God and the Constitution. We have regulated abortion as healthcare instead of Ignoring Roe and abolishing it as murder.
This is a shameful history.
But right now Texas has a unique opportunity to repent of our failures and lead the world in providing equal protection for babies in the womb.
We are just days away from the state Republican convention in Houston. Our team is preparing final details to make the most of this opportunity to influence thousands of grassroots Republican leaders.
Help us equip our volunteers in Houston!
Will Texas be a leader?
Right now, it looks like Roe v. Wade is on the ropes. The question is, will Texas Republicans demonstrate courage in our time and lead the country by boldly calling to abolish abortion in our state, no matter what the Supreme Court decides?
Or will we choose to kick our responsibility down the road, pass the buck to our grandchildren, and continue regulating abortion like healthcare instead of abolishing it as murder?
Our state has made worldwide headlines in the past as one of the most Pro-Life states in the country, and everyone wants to know what Texas plans to do if Roe becomes a thing of the past.
The eyes of the world are on America right now, waiting to find out if Roe v. Wade will be overturned. And in America, the eyes of Republican states are on Texas.
Texas is where the era of Roe started.
And at AATX, we are working to make Texas a world leader in abolishing state-sanctioned baby killing for good. No more ungodly compromise, no more unconstitutional cowardice, no more denying helpless babies the legal protections we already have for ourselves.
It is time to do unto babies what we want done for ourselves.
That’s why the Republican convention in Houston is so important!
Invest in making Texas a leader!
Why is the Republican convention so important?
The truth is that the current direction of Texas and the firmness of our resolve will be led by Republicans, and the direction and priorities of Republicans will be set at the state convention next week.
This is a defining moment, and where Texas goes, other states are likely to follow.
The major question for Texas Republicans right now is: Do we want to protect innocent preborn babies with the same laws that protect the rest of us … or not?
This is the question that AATX will be pressing at the state Republican convention with our Resolution to Abolish Abortion and the pamphlets our volunteers will be distributing to thousands of delegates in Houston.

What happens at this convention will echo across the state, the country, and even the world.
America, as the leader of the free world, set an evil precedent for the world to follow in Roe v. Wade and 49 years of bloodshed have followed. And just since 1980 there have been more than 1.65 billion reported abortions worldwide [1].
Stop and think about that for a minute. That’s billion with a B.
I can’t even fathom that. Can you?
1.65 billion is so large it can sound like just a statistic to us, but to God each of those babies has a name. He individually created them in His own image. And in America alone over 63 million of these little ones have been destroyed on our watch since 1973.
Their innocent blood cries out to God for justice.
The Bible says that those who break even the least of God’s commandments and teach others to do the same will be least in the kingdom of heaven.
We as a country have a lot to answer for.
And as the state where Roe v. Wade was born we have even more to answer for.
May God have mercy on us for our weak and compromised response to this unimaginable evil.
But now America is positioned to lead once again, hopefully in a better direction, by overturning the evil Roe v. Wade decision. But simply sending Roe to the trash heap where it belongs will not abolish abortion in Texas or anywhere else.
This is where Texas has an opportunity to lead the country and the world in repentance and courageous action. If Roe is finally overturned, the world will be looking to see what we do.
People follow strong leaders. This is our opportunity to lead as a party, as a state, and as a country. Not only are the eyes of the world directed here, but ultimately the eyes of history will look back on this moment and judge our actions.
Help us reach grassroots Republican leaders in Houston.
Do we want our great grandchildren to read about our generation in history books as the men and women who faced opposition, trusted their God, and had courage to fight fiercely for the weak in their time?
Or do we want to pass our responsibility to the generations after us so they have to right the wrongs of our time?
At this convention and in the future there will be many things to discuss about how to best care for vulnerable moms and babies in a post-Roe Texas, and those things are important.
But when lawmakers are deciding what to do about the act of killing innocent babies, there is only one thing to do: abolish abortion and provide equal protection for people in the womb.
Above all, we must remember that even more important than the eyes of anyone else watching us are the eyes of God that see ALL. Every thought, word, and deed of every man, woman, and child are known to Him.
But we need not fear His watchful gaze if we are walking in His ways.
One of my favorite promises is that, “The eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.”
This should disarm all our fears that working in God’s ways will lead us to defeat. If God is for us, who can be against us? I truly believe that. Do you?
Pray for this effort!
Now is the time to seek the Lord on behalf of Texas Republican leaders, our entire state, the country, and the world.
It is not the time to back down or to wait and see if someone else will stand up so we don’t have to.
Please remember to pray with us and for us as we head to Houston. Without His help and blessing, all of our efforts would be in vain.
Pray that the Lord would make us bold with strength in our souls so that we might lead our party, our state, and our country in righteousness.
Pray that our hearts would remain loyal to Christ and that He would show Himself strong on our behalf and on behalf of the little ones we are fighting for.
And if you are able, please make the most generous donation you are able today to help us meet (and exceed!) our funding goal for this project so we can have the resources we need to make the most of this incredible opportunity.
Help AATX make a difference in Houston!
Thank you for joining us in this work. We are excited to see what the Lord will do!
For life, for justice, and for the glory of God,
