Abolition is gaining momentum across the country.

Bills that would provide the equal protection of the laws to innocent preborn babies have already been filed in EIGHT STATES so far in 2023! And the Texas bill should be filed soon.👏👏👏

Support for equal protection is getting stronger every day. 💪

We saw this during the last election cycle when more candidates than ever before filled out our AATX Candidate Survey, pledging to abolish abortion in Texas. Even candidates for the Governor's office were talking about abolition.

Abolition efforts at the 2022 state convention for the Republican Party of Texas (RPT) paid off once again.

The Platform and Legislative Priorities of the RPT are stronger on abolishing abortion today than they ever have been before.

And grassroots Republicans want their elected officials to take the 2022 RPT Legislative Priority on abolishing abortion seriously.

We know this isn’t a game. Babies’ lives are still at stake right now in Texas.

Texas Republicans are Standing Up

One of the latest prominent Texans to take a stand for equal protection is conservative leader JoAnn Fleming, the Executive Director of Grassroots America - We the People PAC.

JoAnn recently sent out an email calling for action on RPT Legislative Priority #6 which makes it a priority for Texas Republicans to,

“Abolish abortion by ensuring the right to life and equal protection of the laws to all preborn children from the moment of fertilization, including adopting effective tools to ensure the enforcement of our laws to protect life when district attorneys fail to do so.”

She stated in her email that, “The ‘unalienable Rights’ spoken about in our Declaration of Independence and US Constitution did not originate with our Founders. They come from God.”

And she’s absolutely RIGHT. 💯

JoAnn goes on to say that, “Preborn humans deserve the same protection of life that born humans expect!” And she calls on the legislature to “Immediately put the life of preborn humans on the same footing as born humans!”

She wants faithful ACTION, not just words from Texas Republican leaders and says that, “We cannot allow inaction!”

Praise God that more and more strong voices are calling for equal protection for babies in Texas!

Texas Republicans Need to Get it DONE

✅ Equal protection fulfills the 2022 RPT Legislative Priority #6 on abolishing abortion.

✅ Equal protection obeys God’s command to love even our littlest neighbors as ourselves.

✅ Equal protection practices the Golden Rule by doing for others what we would want done for us.

Providing the equal protection of the laws to preborn babies should be an easy choice for Texas Republicans.

We expect the 2023 Abolition of Abortion in Texas Act to be officially filed very soon. And we will be in Austin to call on Texas Republicans to follow the commands of God, the requirements of the U.S. Constitution, and the Legislative Priorities of their own party.
